Frequently Asked Questions

When are you open for U-Pick?Select weekends in May, June, July. Announcements can be found on our Beans & Berries Facebook page. This beautiful blueberry farm stood abandoned for several years - and we are in our first year of restoring it. As a result, we are unable to host U-Picks on a weekly schedule at this time. We are working hard to bring this farm into full operation by 2026 and to provide facilities, drinks, and beautiful weekend experiences for the entire family. Hang tight.
-
How much do you charge for blueberry picking? When you come to our farm for a U-Pick we will provide you with instructions and a bucket. You are welcome to fill the whole bucket or many buckets. At the end we will weight the bucket and sell you the blueberries at $3/lb. This comes out to about $12-$15 per gallon bucket. We also sell drinks and occasionally invite a food truck onto the property during the U-Pick events. Drinks and food sold separately.
-
What facilities do you have on-site?Our farm currently has a well, an RV and a storage container, and a trash can. We do not currently have any publicly available bathroom facilities on the farm but there are several gas stations and convenience stores in the area we will be happy to point you to.
-
Do you offer camping or lodging at the farm?We do not yet publicly offer camping on the property but it is in the works. This is because we do not have public bathrooms and running water. If you are still very interested in roughing it in your RV or tent on our property - contact us directly and we could work something out.

What other activities are there to do in White SpringsThere are tons of outdoor activities to do in White Springs (and even on our own farm) On the farm: - Take a tour of our green houses to see Coffee Plans and other exotic tropicals that we grow. - Visit our spring-fed ponds and catch a glimpse of the fish. In the future we will be offering fishing opportunities as we are in the process of stocking the ponds now. - Hike and see "Old Man Oak" - a gigantic oak tree on our property that takes three people to reach around. He is likely 200-250 years old.
